This is a great post! Men need to be leaders, but we have lost much of that, we need to lead the household by example, we have to lead physically, financially and spiritually. This can become tiring, and difficult, especially for those of us who grew up without a Father, but it is our role, and as you have stated, if we don't fight to be consistent and keep moving forward we won't grow, and our families will suffer as a result.
Let's fight to grow, let's set the boundaries for success on our bad days and push our limits and growth on the good ones. God will do the rest!

Spot on! I call it preparcrastination. The practice of endlessly preparing for action so convincingly that preparation replaces action. I was very bad/good at this when I pastored. There was so much urgent need that I fooled myself for a season. Go into all the world…
