What a great article. I do wonder, however, how many men you lose by quoting the KJV. Please use a more modern translation with language the readers, you are trying to reach, speak and read on a daily basis. Even the NKJV. I hear pastors all the time inviting people to “partake” of communion and other various forms of Christianese. Just my thoughts.

It would be VERY easy to just replace 'holy' with 'nice'
Not only that, holy chomps of an even harder standard to meet if you don't understand how God creates the holiness - not you.
Point #4 Does some of the work I'm thinking of:
Step 4: Build one act of dangerous obedience this week.
We move towards holiness and Christ-likeness, and displaying the fruits of the Spirit when we follow Him.
And following just requires one thing - nearness. It's in that fervent, honest, raw, cursing, emotional commitment to just come near to Him that things change.
He fills our cup with Himself.
And a true man emerges.
Don't pick up another challenge to be more holy. Lay down your own will hourly and He will make you like Him.
