Every week I talk with Christian men who are frustrated. They know God has called them to something greater, but they're stuck. They attend church regularly, maybe even serve in ministry, yet something's missing.
The surface-level symptoms vary - some battle porn addiction, others drift through life without purpose, many struggle to maintain a consistent relationship with God. But beneath these symptoms lies a deeper problem: we were never taught what it truly means to be a biblical man.
Think about it. When was the last time your church offered a comprehensive framework for biblical masculinity? Not just a weekend men's retreat or a sermon series on being a better husband, but a complete system for living as the man God designed you to be? I know this void intimately because I lived in it for years.
Growing up in church, I heard plenty about what not to do - don't look at porn, don't have sex before marriage, don't waste time playing video games. But nobody showed me what to do instead. Nobody gave me the systems and frameworks I needed to actually live out biblical manhood.
Throughout high school and college, this lack of direction left me rudderless. I filled the void with whatever gave me temporary satisfaction - women, weed, porn, video games.
Even after getting married and committing my life to Christ, I still wasn't the man God called me to be. I backed down from leadership, avoided hard decisions, and let life happen to me instead of purposefully building something for God's kingdom.
The turning point came when I finally developed systems and frameworks for every area of biblical manhood:
A proven method for consistent, revealing Bible study
A battle-tested framework for overcoming lust and porn
Clear principles for biblical masculinity and leadership
A practical process for discovering and pursuing my God-given mission
These systems transformed my life. They provided the structure I needed to move from passive Christianity into active kingdom building. They helped me transition from being led by culture to being led by Christ.
True biblical manhood isn't about following a list of rules or checking religious boxes. It's about having clear frameworks that help you consistently live out God's design for men. It's about building systems that support your growth rather than relying on willpower alone.
When we lack these frameworks, we often default to whatever gives us temporary satisfaction. But when we have clear systems in place, we can channel our energy into building something meaningful for God's kingdom.
